Mr Aiba and Ms Ishii |
On May 21st, on the day of the annual solar eclipse, during Japan Airlines (JAL) flight 249 from Haneda airport, Mr Tsunehiro Aiba proposed to his beloved Ms Shima Ishii, with Clogau royal ring pendant.
At 7.35 am, at about 9,000 meters above Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, while all passengers were in anticipation of the solar eclipse, Mr Aiba’s heart was pounding for one more reason. Mr Aiba revealed:
“When I was just planning to propose on the annular solar eclipse day, I found the Clogau Royal Rose Ring Pendant in JALSHOP and learned that its special gold is also used in the British royal family's marriage rings.
Looking at it from the front, it has a simple ring shape like the annular solar eclipse, but on the side it has a delicate and gorgeous motif. My fiancée liked this point very much and she was so delighted. After all, the biggest reason I chose theClogau pendant for my precious gift is because it contained a touch of the same gold that the British royal family loves.” Mr Aiba
Having confided his secret intention in the cabin crew, he took the microphone at 7.59am and with a trembling voice he said: “Ms Ishii, if you want the two of us to travel together in the future, please accept my proposal”.
Clogau was captivated by Mr Aiba’s expression of love to Ms Ishii.
